Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I seem to always have a bad taste in my mouth. It is bad with eating and drinking. Even drinking water. I had almost every blood test you can think of and I saw a special doctor due to my hormones being off. Re-tested and all blood work is fine. However this taste thing will not go away. I do not know what els I can do.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain bad taste in mouth can occur due to a number of causes like oral and dental infections, dry mouth, side effects of medications, respiratory tract infection, acid reflux, sinus infections etc.. I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and he can look for possible localized caused of bad taste and treat you accordingly.. As of now you can start doing warm saline gargles.. Steam inhalations with few drops of Eucalyptus oil in boiling water can help.. Suck tart candies and chew sugarfree flavoured chewing gums.. Drink plenty of water.. Maintain a good oral hygiene . Avoid taking high aroma foods like onion and garlic..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
