Hello Doctor. I am 42 years old, female, and have been experiencing pain throughout my body for years now - since about 2009. I have had bloodwork tested for many things, but everything continually comes back normal. I have pain throughout my body, headaches, stomach issues and cramping, cannot eat much without getting full fast, bloating, swelling in fingers, knees, hands, burning muscles, fatigue, headaches, charlie horses in legs and sometimes in my sides, frequent tingling in hands and feet, sometimes just two or three fingers or a couple of toes. Also severe pain in my back, usually the lower back, but the pain also travels upward to the middle/upper back. I have been experiencing trouble concentrating. When I get out of bed in the morning, it feels as if my whole skeletal structure wants to collapse upon itself. My legs hurt sharply as it go down the stairs in the morning, as if I am made of rusty metal and the bending of my ankles and muscles are straining. I have experience urgent urination [without much of a warning] and I am so tired all of the time. I get random sharp pains throughout my body including my head. My PCP has not been able to find a diagnosis. At first, he thought it might be fibromyalgia, and prescribed me some pain medication, but the pain intensified while I took the medication - so I quit taking it and informed my PCP. He offered no followup. The last time he ordered bloodwork, I asked him to have me tested for lupus, lyme, in addition to whatever else he wanted to test. Please help. I thank you in advance for any direction you can give me. I think I will get results if I have something to tell my PHP to look for.
