What Causes Persistent Brown Vaginal Discharge After The First Intercourse?
I had sex for the first time, it was protected with a condom and no ejaculation inside my vagina. I also took an emergency contraception pill 2 days later. I did bleed a little bit after intercorse, but nothing major. However I still have a brown discharge, is it normal and could it possibly mean I m pregnant?
Hello dear user, and thank you for using our service in HCM
Bleeding after first sexual relation is a normal situation in many women. It can persist for few days. And after taking contraception pills your hormonal regulation tend to change a little, and many changes occur in your endometrium, and even your period time can be affected.
If you were protected with condom, there must not be problem. Remember to be attentive to your next period. In case it doesn't appear, then, do a blood pregnant test.
Do sexual relation with protection, remember it is not only because of pregnancy risk, but also because of diseases, like HIV, and others. Be safe, do sex with responsibility.
Hoping to be useful Dr. Nieves Romero
