What Causes Persistent Burning Sensation In Vagina?

I ve had what i thought was symptoms of a bladder urinary tract infection. Each time the results came back negative. I have been on all different types of antibiotics creams and even took an over the counter yeast infection pill. Nothing seems to help. There is a constant burn sensation and the inside of my vagina is red. I have only been with one person in my life sexually whom i am married to. I am 45 this year been tested for std s as well as had an ultrasound and everything comes back cLear. Which I Knew it would unless u can catch something froma toilet seat lol . All jokes aside i did have a hysterectomy about 4 years ago and have had my uretha stretched a few ttimes in the past. I am really starting to worry what could this possibly be? I am off to see my family doctor again however my anxiety over this is insane. Any ideas on what this is?

Emergency Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

I would highly suggest a consult with a gynecologist who would examine in details in your private place to look for any rash growth or signs of infection and treat you accordingly. It is better to take an expert opinion.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Suchita Yohan Halli, Emergency Medicine Specialist
