What Causes Persistent Clogging In The Ears And Nose?

I have been stuffed for a while now (at least 8 months) Sometimes even my ears are affected. The breathing through the nostril differs and it is not the always the same nostril is plugged up. The ears have no ear infection, the nose has no polyps. The affect on the nose and ears is not always constant and varies. Any suggestions?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain stuffed nostril along with ears at times when you do not have ear infection or nasal polyp can be due to causes like Sinus infection, allergies etc..
I would suggest you to consult an ENT Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like PNS view x ray or MRI scan can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
You can be advised a course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, decongestants like Pseudoephadrine, do saline nasal irrigation, steam inhalation and use a humidifier in your room..
You can also be advised decongestant nasal sprays containing Xylometazoline or Oxymetazoline..
