General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Yes, that's perfectly normal after an abortion. I advise to keep well hydrated, drink plenty of water with oral rehydration salt.

After finishing your next cycle, run vaginal swab test to rule out related infection in order to treat it adequately. Sometimes, the vaginal infection can also cause heavy monthly bleeding.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
