Hi,
I am sorry for the health situation your daughter is in.
You mention that your daughter (4 years old) is suffering from cold&cough for the pas 1 month. Her
pediatrician prescribed sensiclav-ds as antibiotic; levolin plus syrup and montair lc kid syrup for 1 week.
Sensiclav-ds is an broad spectrum antibiotic containing
amoxicillin and clavulonic acid. It is indicated in case of bacterial infection of the upper
respiratory tract. It should be used at least for 1 week to up to 10 days in acute infection as in the case of your daughter.
Levolin plus syrup contains combination Ambroxol 30 MG+
Guaifenesin 50 MG + levolsalbutamol (mucolytic and expectorant and bronchodilatator respectively) that will dissolve sputum and ease the coughing improving the breathing.
Montair lc kid syrup contains the combination of Levocetrizine (anti-allergic) and
Montelukast (anti-leukotriene).
All of them can be safely use in children of 4 years old as your daughter's case.
Continue as prescribed by her pediatrician. Please consult her pediatrician at the end of the treatment to evaluate the changes and improvement for long-term therapy.
Wish fast recovery.
