What Causes Persistent Cough After Recovering From Cold?

In February, A cold went through our house and all of my family caught it. I just had a cough, they all got better, however my cough hasn t gone away in 4 1/2 months. When I talk loud or laugh, the coughing is very bad. I feel good in general (No cold Symptoms) and do not smoke. I do not have any phlem or discharge from the coughing. Do you have any ideas on what may be going on? I would appreciate any help. Thank You, Luke YYYY@YYYY

A kind of local allergy, may be surrounding allergens, environment or simply phlem inside may cause...anything.

Simply boil holy basil leaves in water and sip frequently. You may add little ginger or only ginger boiled water may also relieve. Ginger is pungent so some honey may be added, say 1 tsp of honey to 1 cup of ginger/ holy basil or both boiled water. Sip sip sip.
More potent results needed. Drink little turmeric too. Say 1/4 tsp in 1/2 glass warm water. May gargle with turmeric water too.
All are harmless. May be slow and require 1 week to 10 days. But immunity enhancer too.
Hope it helpful.
