What Causes Persistent Cough After Recovering From Pneumonia?

I had pneumonia in June (left lower lobe), I still have a slight cough and I have noticed my let clavicle area is swollen. Can the 2 be related? If not how long does a cough from PNA take to clear up and what could be the cause of the swollen clavicle?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for the query.
Once your course of injections in hospital is over you are discharged with oral medications. It takes about 10-14 days to stop the cough completely.
It helps to clear your lungs with remnants of cough.
Check it with your doctor if you get fever/ excessive cough/ breathless .
Take regular medicines/ have nutritive food & plenty of liquids ( no alcohol pl. )/avoid exposure to cold weather or allergens.
Thanks
