What Causes Persistent Cough Along With Pressure In Sinuses?

Hi, i have had a cough for over 6 months now, i have had 3 courses of antibiotics and it has not cleared. ihave had a chest xray and that is clear. it is worse after i have had something to eat, it is like when i swallow food it aggrivates my throat causing me to cough. i struggle to breathe when i am coughing and i have passed out on a couple of occasions. i feel it may have something to do with my sinuses too as i do feel pressure in my nose. one doctor suggested acid reflux but i have had no feeling of burning in my chest or throat.

1. Since majority of investigations are normal thus check with an ENT surgeon regarding possibility of 'chronic sinusitis' [X-ray of paranasal sinuses] since treatment will depend upon the underlying cause.

2. what can be done at home is:
. drink plenty of fluids [stay hydrated]
. saline water gargles
. cough drops
. honey and ginger.
