What Causes Persistent Cough In A Lupus Patient?

My 28 yr old daughter has been coughing for four or five days. She has Lupus (SLE) and autism so it s hard to exactly all her symptoms. Have been treating her with Delsum cough med and don t know what else I could be doing. She hasn t slept through the night for several days now. Could it be walking pneumonia?

sometimes a rare disease called lupus pneumonitis in which inflammation of lungsmay cause shortness of breath , cough, rapid breathing, sometimes blood in cough... so consult doctor to rule out this
