i am a 42 yr old male with 6 weeks of night sweats and sometimes drenching along with chills. I have also a pesistent cough that wakes me from my sleep. Also mood swings that include insomnia and then extreme fatigue but not always one after the other.
Noted your history related to night sweats, chills, persistent cough that wakes you up and mood swings. Chills and night sweats can be due to one of the following reasons: Infection in a confined space say like sinuses, liver, urinary tract, lungs.
Lungs or sinuses look to be cause in your case as you have persistent cough. Hence I would advise you the following: Consult your Doctor for clinical evaluation and examination.
Investigations of blood: CBC, sugar, liver, kidney and thyroid functions, Blood culture and sensitivity. All these will give a proper diagnosis and thus allow a proper management to give you complete cure. Remember that you may need a long treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
