What Causes Persistent Cramps In The Upper Right Thigh Area?

Hello, I have been experiencing leg pain for several months now and the pain seems to be getting worse. It is located in the upper right thigh area. It hurts to sleep on that side of the leg. It is a burning pain. Sometimes the pain radiates up to my hip area. I have not had any injury to the area. No matter what I do sit, walk or lye down the pain is constant.

Hello,

Discomfort in your upper thigh, such as aching, burning, or pain, can be a common experience. While in most cases it’s nothing to be alarmed about, there are some instances in which you should evaluate your condition. Meralgia paresthetika typically occurs on one side of the body and is caused by compression of the nerve., tight clothes or overweight. Some other reason are thrombosis muscle strain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
