What Causes Persistent Dizziness, Sensitivity To Light And Joint Pains?

My husband has been experiencing dizziness when he bends or does a simple exercise. As well he has been having sensitivity to light and some joint pain. He has stopped the double dosage of Lipitor that doc prescribed but he still has symptoms. Could he have a blocked artery or reaction to the drug?

Hi

Cervical spondylosis can be the cause of headache, dizziness on sudden bending or turning head.X ray or ct cervical spine may be required. Migraine headache and glaucoma (increased eyeball pressure) should also be ruled out.

Your symptoms could be unrelated to lipitor treatment.Tell your doctor right away if you develop any of these symptoms during treatment and if these symptoms persist after your doctor stops this drug -muscle pain, fatigue, dizziness, yellowing of eyes, change in the amount of urine.

As a part of medical assessment, the status of your blood sugar, blood pressure and lipid levels should also be tested.

Hope that was helpful.Let me know if i can assist you further.

Regards
