General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I had gone through your query and I understand your concern.

When water enters middle ear, it causes an inflammatory reaction which is the reason for your pain.

It may even lead to an infection in which case you'll have fever, ear ache, discharge from the ear.

When you sneeze, burp or yawn it increases the pressure inside your ear which caused pain.

I suggest you to take any anti- inflammatory drugs.

If the pain persists, its better to consult an ENT specialist.

Take care.

Regards,
Dr. Prathap Kumar
