What Causes Persistent Edema In The Body Despite Taking Diuretics?
I was changed from mmethadone 10mg 3tabs tid. percocet 10mg 2 tab tid to opana40mgER and oxycodon10mg for breakthrough pain.On the 6 day Iretained 8.6lbs of fluid in my chest.Im now tryingoxycontin30mg. Im still having some edema why? YYYY@YYYY

Hello,
The edema you are experiencing is a rare side effect of oxycodone. Sometimes it might induce pulmonary edema too.
To me, if not taking any other medication, stop oxycodone and report this side effect to your caring doctor as soon as possible in order to take action on time.
