What Causes Persistent Eye Reddening With Tiredness And Heaviness?

I have had a persistant red eye (the white of the eye) since January. I have been seen by an ophthalmologist and he thinks it may be episcleritis. I had a steroid injection which helped for one week and then the bright red eye appeared again. Do you think it could be another problem? It feels kind of tired and heavy but doesn't hurt.

Well I read your history. It seems to be episcleritis only... Since single injection was not effective , I advice to start low potent steroid eyedrops under ophthalmologist guidance... So consult your ophthalmologist for the same...
