What Causes Persistent Fatigue, Excessive Sleep And Passing Out?

My son in law hasn t been well in several weeks. He had the flu about a month ago and all symptoms of that are gone. He has pretty bad allergies but hasn t actually been to an allergy doctor. He is constantly tired, sleepy, just generally fatigued. He passed out getting out of the shower last week. He immediately came to and was fine so he said. Any suggestions on what his doctor might want to check. I wasn t sure if men had thyroid problems????

Hello,

He may be suffering from allergies with may be syncopal attack due to hypotension, heat induced vagal syncope.

Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. Get a chest X-ray, ECG and MRI brain done. Please consult your physician, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.

Regards,
