What Causes Persistent Fatigue, Headache And Pain In Shoulders?

Since Sunday afternoon, I have felt weak with some fatigue, headache, body aches mainly in the shoulders, and have broken out in sweats or feel clammy. And also periodically my stomach feels upset but not to the point of vomiting or not being able to eat. I did have a little loose bowel with an episode of diarrhea. Is this just a virus? Thank you.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of persistent fatigue, headache and pain in shoulders . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like food allergy, gastroenteritis, acid reflux, food poisoning and electrolyte disturbances. The symptoms can also occur due to cervical spondylosis or trapezius muscle trigger points . You should take plenty of fluids and diet rich in multivitamins. Avoid intake of outside and hot and spicy food substances. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order endoscopy of esophagus , X-ray of upper digestive tract and ambulatory acidity test . Doctor may prescribe H2 blockers , proton pump inhibitor along with antacid. For now avoid eating spicy food and also avoid seafood and nuts .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
