What Causes Persistent Fever And Dry Throat In A Child?

Approximately three weeks ago, my daughter, 7yrs old became ill complaining of dry throat and upset stomach. She vomited the first and second days. Over the course of the first week she ran a fever 101 -103.4.The second week she developed a skin rash from her shoulders to her upper thigh areas. Her skin felt like sand paper and she had severe strawberry tongue. Also a sore throat. After her rash cleared, she began to peal. She has been to her pediatrician several times. She was given antibiotics for 10 days as a precaution. To this there are 3 symptoms which remain persistent. Fevers up and down daily, sore throat, ans skin pealing on her hands. So far it has been suggested that maybe she has: rheumatic fever or Kawasaki disease. In the mean time she is repeatedly sent home from school for fevers. Any ideas on what this might be?
