What Causes Persistent Fever And Headaches In Person Suffering With Lupus?

I am writing for my daughter who has been diagnosed at Mayo Clinic in MN a few years ago because RI (where she lives) and Boston were unable too. She was diagnosed with Connective Tissue Disease. Lupus, Scleroderma, Gastroperesis, etc. (spelling?) She had a flare up before the holidays of Lupus that lasted several weeks. She got better and about 4 weeks later became ill with intestinal problems, see above gastroperisis. She has been having constant low grade fevers, diarrhea, incontinence, constipation, extreme weakness, dizziness, nausea, severe headaches, etc. She has been mostly housebound. Please HELP!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

She must get an admission into a hospital for a day at least for this acute outcome. Take proper treatment from your doctor. Treatment mostly is not going to change if you refer to other doctors also. Once she recovers from these acute symptoms, [one study shows good effects of OMBW 'Art of Living' course on lupus] she can join this. This will add up in her recovery and improve her quality of life.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
