What Causes Persistent Fever And Swelling In Throat Of A Child?

Hi My kid 5 years old is suffering from fever and throat swelling feeling pain. Just four days before she took nonveg on late hr in a picnic. She got pain in stomach. Doctor prescribed Flexon syrup with other medicine, 7 ml three times. But fever is being continuing from last three days. I need your advice.

Don't worry.It might be due to viral infection.If the symptoms are still there u can start with antibiotic like advent forte syrup 4 ml twice a day for five days.This is applicable when the symptoms prolong more than 5 days.Till thattreat symptomatically that's it.Better to avoid outside non veg till some age.For throat pain and fever and all u can give Maxtra- p syrup 3 ml thrice a day.
