What Causes Persistent Fever Despite Taking Medication?

Hello Sir, I am suffering from fever for more than a month, many time I visited to doc. During the period I take medicines fever goes down but after stopping medication it comes back, now a doc has given me Monocef 200 and dolo tabs, I am taking this for 3 days but even after this fever comes after an interval.. is it typhoid I am suffering from please suggest me medicines which I should take.

Hi welcome to the health care magic

You are having Pyrexia since one month..
It is Pyrexia of unknown origin case as it is since month

Search for its cause has to be searched and according to cause specific treatment given

Malaria, typhoid, leukemia (if liver and Spleen palpable), chronic virus infection etc like causes should be searched

For that work up needed with ESR, CBC, PS examination, blood culture and USG....

Hence after your examination and above work up according to cause specific treatment will be given

Take care

Consult physician for examination with keeping all this in mind
