What Causes Persistent Fever, Diarrhea And Abdominal Pain In Children?
My son is 2 years old, he has had on off diarreah for more than a week and before that he started having a low fever. Now his fevers are higher 102, right now 103.2. He complained of stomach pains but the doctor said he had alot of gas. She didnt think it was appendex since she pressed and moved his legs and he didnt complain. Im desperate not sure what is going on with him.

I don't think this can be related to apendicitis but can be related to gastrointestinal viral infection. Give him acetaminophen for pain and probiotics such enterogerina or yovita to re-establish the intestinal flora.
