What Causes Persistent Fever In Spite Of Taking Medication For Typhoid?
i m having fever from 15 days..i have mild typhoid..dr. have suggested me zifi, oflomac and polybion syrup?.. its been 5 days tht i m hvng these medicines but my fever isn t recovered yet.. can u tell my the reason and for how many days fever will be continue?

Hello,
The fever will gradually subside once organisms getting killed by prescribed antibiotic medication for seven to fourteen days. You can take soft and bland diet more.
Drink more water and fruit juices. If no improvement in next two to three days than stool culture or blood culture can be planned to choose different antibiotic.
