What Causes Persistent Fever?

Hi, My sister has been ill for quite sometime now. Fever levels are fluctuating from 100 to 104. Paracematol is helping to get the fever down. We got the liver function test done and the SGOT level is 51 (normal 0 - 34). she is 22 years old. Can you please advise on this.
