What Causes Persistent Fluttering Sensation In The Ears?

Hi, I have had this fluttering in my ears for about 4 months now. It happens when I am lying down for awhile. It is so annoying that I have to get up and sit for awhile before it settles down. I have seen my doctor about this and was sent to a specialist. He is sending me to the hospital in 2 weeks for a hearing test. Hopefully they can get to the cause and I can then get some help. In the mean time is their anything I can do to help relieve this problem?.....Zella

Hi,

You may be suffering from tinnitus.

It may be due to eustachian tube block or allergy or middle ear infection or temporomandibular joint arthritis or vascular aneurysms etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Avoid spicy food, alcohol consumption, smoking and caffeine drinks.

Use tablet Cognifast.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
