What Causes Persistent Gagging Post Food Intake?
My bother started gagging throughout the day. Within an hour after eating a banana, drinking water, and taking Zyrtec, he started vomitting. At first, the vomit was just clear liquid with a banana but on another episode, the liquid vomit was a little orange.

It could be due to severe acid reflux secondary to gastritis.
If symptoms persist better to consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated.
An endoscopy is required in case of a severe disease.
