Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain due to trauma there has been an
injury to the minor blood vessels and due to which there is spilling of blood from ruptured blood vessels into the soft tissues leading to bruising and also there is
HEMATOMA formation. The hard knot is due to accumulation of the inflammatory cells, overgrown fibrous tissue and at times the Hematoma gets encapsulated and there is formation of a hard knot..
You need not to worry as it will resolve but can take a long time, although bruising will reduce soon but the knot take time to resolve..
You can do alternate hot and
cold packs over the knot and bruising..
Apply Thrombophob gel over the knot and bruised area but keep away from eye and apply only after
patch test..
For pain you can take anti-inflammatory OTC painkiller
Ibuprofen..
Hope this information helps..
