General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Neck pain with occipital region headache may be a manifestation of migraine headache or muscular pain.

Is there any fever, cough, swelling in the neck, swallowing difficulty, weakness in limbs, urinary complains?

Is there any associated nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light or sound? You should take pain killers with muscle relaxants for a few days. Provide more details.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Iven Romic Rommstein, General Surgeon
