What Causes Persistent Headache And Numbness On The Face?

I have what was originally diagnosed as a temporal bone granuloma. I have a persistent headache, numbness on the right side of my face, hearing and sight loss and balance issues too. The ENT specialist I saw wanted to run a few more tests and get an MRI with contrast. Should I be worried about anything? The last 6 months or so the symptoms have gotten a bit worse and the doc scared me a bit when he gave me the worst case scenario.
