General & Family Physician 's  Response
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concern.
Tab.Hyzaar which you are taking contains two drugs-Losartan(angiotensin II receptor blocker) and hydrochlorothiazide(which is a diuretic).
Now these can cause imbalance in body electrolyte(sodium,Potassium level)imbalance.
So i would advice such a patient coming to me to do few lab test
1.Serum Electrolyte
2.2DECHo to rule out any cardiac cause for weakness.
3.Thyroid function test to rule out thyroid disorders.
and follow up with local doctor with these reports.
Thanks and regrads
