What Causes Persistent Headache When Diagnosed With Stickler Syndrome?
My name is Mandy and I am 24 years old and i have a genetics disease called sticklers syndrome and probably for the past 2 months ive had this headache that doesn t seem to go away. some days are worse then others like I don t even want to get out of bed and others its just a dull annoyance. im constantly tired and have very little energy (being a mother of a 3 yr old this is very difficult) I feel light headed a lot and sometimes when my headache is really bad I feel like I could throw up. I have a drs appointment with my family physician but im sure they will want to do further tests and as I don t have any health insurance I simply cannot afford to do so. was just maybe looking for some ideas as to what this possibly could be to maybe suggest to my dr or if this could be related to the sticklers syndrome. ive done a lot of research and most of it doesn t seem to be related. ive also looked into cluster headaches and mold exposure. I understand im not going to get a diagnosis or an answer more then likely without having tests done but I thought I would give this a try. ive done pretty much everything I can think of to help from meditating and yoga to taking different vitamins and nothing seems to help. just looking for any possible Ideas as to what could be wrong to present to my dr. thanks so much in advance for any suggestions you might make.
Stickler syndrome directly do not cause headache however since it affects the eyes, I would advise you to get any eye condition ruled out with the help of an ophthalmologist. Also, headache is very deeply related to stress and the psychological aspect of an individual. I would further advise you to seek help to reduce stress if you have any in addition to a review with a psychologist.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
