What Causes Persistent Headaches After Undergoing C-section?
I have headaches almost everyday after a c section. I had my baby 5 months ago and had pree-clampcia. I took hbp medicine for about 2 months and I stopped it because I m breastfeeding. When I had pre-eclampcia I had CT scan and it was normal. Now I have headaches almost everyday. Are my headaches migraines , sinus infection because my eyes hurt too or from lock of sleep. I don t sleep enough hours.? I saw my family doctor and he said that it s from hbp, but now my blood pressure is good I check it everyday
Welcome to HCM This is Dr Amit. As per my knowledge reason for the persistent headache is uncontrolled blood pressure and/or sinusitis. From your history it is evident that you are having problem of hypertension from very long time and you were also having pre-eclamsia. I will advice you to do salt restriction along with physical exercise to tackle high blood pressure. If It remains high inspite of salt restriction and physical exercise consult your doctor and start taking anti-hypertensive under guidance of your doctor Feel free to ask if you have any doubts Regards
