Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Persistent Headaches Along With Sensitivity To Smells?
I have been having quite a few headaches lately (the past two weeks), and have been experiencing a thick type feeling in my head; last nite I suddenly woke up smelling burnt toast. The smell was so intense that I got up and checked to see if my teenage son was awake and making toast. Could there be a connection between the two? I remember hearing about a connection between smelling burnt toast and strokes; is there any validity to this?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, it may be olfactory hallucination and most of the time it is the temporary phase may not have any specific reason and it will come around on it own no need to worry bout this hope this information helps.
