What Causes Persistent Headaches Post A Browplasty Surgery?
Brow lift July 2016. Suffered severe head pressure with pain at incisions. Now one year later. Incision opened up with yellow fluid. fever 100 to 101, severe internal head pressure especially at incision sites in hair line. doc says not an infection and fever not related. Cleaned the incision and put me on a 7 day antibiotic because he cleaned it. Felt better bot not 100%. Two weeks later went to get my hair washed at salon and when she washed it all the nerve pain shot from my forehead to the back of my head. Now back several months in healing sever head pressure with pain and especially at incision sites. Doc put me on 21 day antibiotic as he could see inflammation at incision and brow. Feeling better but still have pain especially toward the end of the day with headache and feels like an infection...

* Browplasty surgery usually does not produce a long term headache.
* The yellow discharge with wound gaping is surely surgical related.
* In our clinic, I recommend to clear the infection with wound swab culture culture specific antibiotics sterile dressing care control of blood sugar and later evaluate the headache cause with MRI or else to manage
in accordance to that.
