What Causes Persistent Headaches Post Recovery From Sinus Infection?

I was treated for a sinus infection 17 days ago WITH AMOXICILLIN. All of my symptoms got better but headache remained. I went back to Primecare and they sent me to the ER for a ct scan on my sinus passage and to see if I had a bleed from coumadin and nothing showed up but 17 days later Ive still got the bad headache. It just pounds at times and I also have nausue along with it. What do you think this could be since sinus infection is gone.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this was the infection, even little inflammatory condition of sinus could cause the headache in absence of infection too, some time headache could be associated with nonspecific reasons, conservative management is advisable hope this information helps.
