What Causes Persistent Hiccups And Breathing Problems Post Bypass Surgery?
Hello my husband had a bypass Wednesday and colonoscopy, they have been giving him dilaudid by way of device byhim pushing button, and he has been having major hiccups since surgery, also breathing complications, they have tried every med for hiccups and nothing is working, wondering is it from this pain med?

It is quite common after major surgery. Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself, As of now, you can take drugs like baclofen for symptomatic relief.
