What Causes Persistent High Blood Pressure Despite Taking Medication?
I wastaking prolomet R 50 for 7 yrs. But my bp range increased form 120/70-80 to 150-160/75-90 during this period. Recently my dr prescribed metosartan 50. During this period there is no change in the bp range. There is no major symptom of discomfort. I do not lead an idle life and I am not diabetic. I am 63. What d u suggest

Additional drugs like losartan or telmisartan can be added. Avoid excess salt intake also. Consult a physician and he will direct you accordingly.
