What Causes Persistent High Fever And Abdominal Pain In A Child?

My 10 year old daughter woke up at 3a with a temp of 102, gave her Motrin, 7:30 temp is 102.6 gave her Tylenol, 8:10am Temp 103.1. Complained of stomach ache, gave her toast. 9:00a took her to Urgent care (she has had one bad ear infection and ruptured ear drum, other than that not sick really ever) worried about the ear. Her temp at DR. was 100.7 no redness in ears no red throat, she did mention to dr that her tummy hurt, she pressed on stomach and she said it hurt a little, Gave her Tylenol. They said maybe beginning appendicytis or the flu????? Now it is 3pm and Fever all day. What to do, no major pain, but sleeping and fever all day with no symptoms other than some tummy pain.

Thanks for your question on HCM & I do understand your concern

“As” per your clinical history is concerned she has fever as ell as abdominal pain but you have not mentioned which part of abdomen is hurting and how is her bowel ?so her main problem is infection and do few investigations like [CBC], urine examination and an ultrasound whole abdomen and show reports to your doctor to pin point his clinical diagnosis. Discuss with your doctor about IV antibiotics like [Ceftriaxone].
