What Causes Persistent Intense Pain In The Middle Of The Chest?

For the past couple of days my heart hurts no kidding. ..on my left breast 3 fingers away from the middle of my chest. ..I feel a constant fullness like someone is stepping but it hurts like a throbbing. ..also my left arm hurts & I feel cold ...& yes I ve been under a lot of stress. ..please help. ..

I had gone through the question and understand your concern.
See , you haven't mention your age. If you are above 40 , then you must get ECG done as soon as possible. It will give an idea about your heart condition. Also , consult your physician for the same.
If i were your physician , i would have initially prescribed you omeprazole capsule to see it you are suffering from heart burn , and if it relieve by the capsule.
