As per your query you have itching on your chest and doctor said it to be a allergic reaction . The symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like Xerotic eczema , atopic dermatitis , infection , chest rash , medications and conditions like renal failure or obstructive biliary disease . I would suggest you to consult allergy specialist for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order test like skin patch test and blood test to ruel out any serious condition . Doctor may prescribe anti histamine , adrenaline short , steroid ointment or take history to find out the trigger factor . For now apply cold compresses to affected area . Doctor may also refer you to specialist like nephrologist .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
