What Causes Persistent Itchy Red Spots On Back, Trunk And Legs?
I have three large oval red spots on my torso. The first appeared 3 years ago. Shortly after that round darkened areas appeared on my back which were very itchy. Then my lower legs became very itchy. I was told it was a fungal infection. A cream was ordered to treat it. Today I still have the oval areas on my torso and the darkened spots on my back which periodically still itch. I would like to know what this is really about.

I really appreciate your concern, such skin lesion that you have described here could be due to fungal infection and in my opinion this can be treated with "Tab Terbinafine 250 mg" three times in day for 7 days and for local application "Terbinafine cream" can be used, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
