What Causes Persistent Joints Pain In The Ankle Radiating Towards The Wrist?
For almost a year now I have constant muscle and joint pain bilaterally from ankles to wrists, deep muscle pain in thighs and at least three episodes of muscle cramps in my right lower leg at night per month. I am fatigued, trouble sleeping, and my joint pain is at its worst after period of rest. I also have skin changes in both my anticubital area, axilla and posterior upper thighs. I am set to see a rheumatologist in two months.

What Causes Persistent Joints Pain In The Ankle Radiating Towards The Wrist?
Hello, Your symptoms seem to be related to rheumatoid arthritis. I suggest to do a rheumatoid factor blood level and an x-ray of the joints. Meanwhile, I suggest using anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen. I also recommend consulting a rheumatologist for further evaluation. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
