What Causes Persistent Left Sided Abdominal Pain In A Child?
Hi I have 5 years old son he complain of abdominal pain oll day his tomy on the left side is sore very often and he can t sleep but just coming around in bed crying for me to masage him every 5 minutes on his sleep hi throwing his covers asmy self I don t try to sleep because I m scared he will get cold please I need help what to do.

left sided abdominal pain in your child can be caused by variety of medical conditions from common intestinal colics to serious diseases and it needs thorough medical check up and investigations to spot a confirm diagnosis
however abdominal pain is not uncommon in children but some times these can be the initial presentation for serious illnesses including pancreatitis
So You must Need to evaluate it from ur doctor
he will do thorough physical examination and may go for necessary medical investigations including an ultrasound , stool examination , X ray etc to rule out any underlying medical condition
i would strongly suggest you to see Your GP As soon as possible to get your child out of this difficult and painful situation
