What Causes Persistent Loud Intestinal Gurgling Sound?

I have loud stomach intestinal gurgling all the time. It is right after I eat and it is so embarrassing that it is impacting my work... I hate going to meetings... What drastic mesures can I take to make it stop.... I have had this for years... doctors don t know why... they say stomachs do make noises. Is there anything I can do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Stomach growling occurs as food, liquid, and gas go through the stomach and small intestine
Stomach growling or rumbling is a normal part of digestion.
Among the causes are hunger, incomplete digestion, or indigestion.
I suggest using antacids such as Maalox to relieve the acidity in the stomach.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
