General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If your body temperature more than 38.1 than it may be fever with unknown origin. A thorough history, physical examination, and standard laboratory testing remain the basis of the initial evaluation of the patient with FUO. Newer diagnostic modalities, including updated serology, viral cultures.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Arup Majumdar
