What Causes Persistent Lower Abdominal And Pelvic Pain?

I went to the ER today, i had/have mains in my lower abdomen, and pelvic area. i was diagnosed with a cervical infection. on my paper it says the cervical infection was likely caused by untreated chlamydia, and gonorrhea. i have a problem with this being my fiancé 2 weeks ago had a blood workup for STDs and allergies both, due to stomach issues. allergies were the problem, and no STDs were found. we stopped having sex in case it was STDs, have not had sex since. if i haven t cheated on him, and he is free of any STDs, how could i have caught either or both of those? ~Tara

Hello,

At first instance, negative test result does not rule out underlying subclinical infection which is not at the threshold of lab detection parameters. This is seemingly related to sexual transmission only and hence has to be discussed in details with the partner.
