What Causes Persistent Lower Abdominal Pain?

I am having severe pain in my lower left abdominal area. I feel relieved when I pass gas, however the pain is still there. I thought it was gas but this a pain I ve never experienced before so then I was thinking something is wrong with my left ovary. I don t know. Is it appendicitis?

hello, welcome to healthcaremagic.

1st of all, its not appendicitis because appendicitis pain is localised to RIGHT lower abdomen and around umblicus

2nd, it can be an intestinal obstruction, constipation, ovarian problems.

take-
tab cyclopam 1 tab BD
syp lactulose 2 tbsp BD

get following investigations done-
xray abdomen
USG lower abdomen for ovarian problems.

rule out pregnancy before everything.

hope this helps
thank you
