Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain persistent lower back pain can be due to causes like lumber sprain,Radiculopathy, bone encroaching over the spinal nerves causing nerve compression,Arthritis, disc degeneration osteoporosis, etc..
I would suggest you to consult an Orthopedician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can help in diagnosis and he can also advise investigations like X-RAY, MRI, Electromyography and Nerve Conduction Velocities..
You can be advised to take anti-inflammatory painkillers, muscle relaxants, warm compresses, stretching exercises..
Massaging with pain relieving oils can help..
You can also be advised to avoid standing or sitting for long hours..
Loose weight if you are obese..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
